Barclays is pushing dealmakers back to the office, and it’s scrapping a key perk of working from home for juniors burning the midnight oil — free meals.
The UK lender has stopped offering a daily stipend of $25, or local currency equivalent, to its junior bankers working late on deals at home, analysts told Financial News. This includes reimbursements for meals when analysts and associates work weekends, they added.
