Convicted Libor rigger Tom Hayes has been denied another opportunity to fight his conviction as the Criminal Cases Review Commission has decided not to refer his case to the Court of Appeal.
The CCRC, an independent body responsible for investigating suspected miscarriages of justice, told Hayes' lawyer Karen Todner on 7 December that it had made a "provisional decision" to refer the case to the Court of Appeal.
